I give Rating 8 for this hotel first due to it's location, which is not busy and near to Kinta River front (start from late afternoon to nightime). Then availability of parking spaces in the basement ie 2 level. It shows Halal certification for it's restaurant. And finally it's wonderful breakfast. The spread was amazing, maybe personally I would say comparable to a 5 star hotel I had stayed in Shah Alam. For example, it's Kopi Kampung and Teh Masala (this was my best) were served in old kettles over a firewood (real fire!). I'm not surprised if people come to this hotel solely for its breakfast....during my stay it was New Year Eve and they opened up another section of the restaurant/ballroom to accommodate the large guests. For me it's good management and sensitivity on the plight of hotel guests.

The hotel location is next to Kinta Riverwalk and bustling with restaurant during the evening. There is also a 7eleven. Parking is available in the hotel and is MYR2 per entry for hotel guests, but remember to validate at the reception counter. Sunday morning, there's a morning market right in front of the hotel but not sure if this is every Sunday. The hotel is situated not too far of everything so it is very convenient to stay. GrabRide was easy too. Remember to research about parking coupons or apps coz parking in public is chargeable from Mon to Saturday 8or 9am to 6pm. Hotel room itself has a bathub and i love how the shower n bathub is in an enclosed room. So we didnt get the bathroom floor wet. Love the bathroom!

- Breakfast: excellent (so many traditional Malay and other foods), but they have other options like pau, cereals, etc. The ambient is also so nice. - Parking: Underground parking. Plenty of them. Only RM2 for 24 hours. Just tap your Touch and Go card, and bring the card to the receptionist for validation. Once done, you can go out and re-enter many times without charge. - They provided a few bananas in the room when we arrived. - Water pressure and temperature are excellent - Location is near to many restaurants, even by walking - There is a 7-11 shop downstairs. - Iron and iron board are provided in the room - Prayer mats (for muslim) are also provided.

The room is spacious and bath with a bathtub (deluxe room with river view) make my children happy when stay there. The hotel also have a swimming pool and gym. A lot of choices when breakfast including Malaysian and Western cuisine. Indoor and outdoor hall for breakfast are very nice with local decoration and feeling. Location? This hotel I really recommend to other travellers because after tired walk around Ipoh in the daytime, the night should be the time for relaxing at hotel. But you also can do some activities surrounding the hotel because the hotel really close to Kinta riverfront sidewalk which open at night with colourful lights.

That the restaurant at 4. floor had a 'for smokers' section, 3 tables, lots of nice plants, lot of fresh air. That saved my 86 year old, pipesmoking husband from feeling like a criminal, having to stand somewhere outside. Thank you, Kina Riverfront!!! And the river view from our room, able to see big monitor lizards and birds, loved it!
